Eagles have decided to climb the highest pass in Europe by the side of Prato allo Stelvio.
early in the morning the weather was not bode well: several ominous clouds dominate us.
start to climb the famous 48 hairpin bends in the middle of thousands of other cyclists.
In 25 Km, we get up to 2000 meters and above, the 48 hairpin turns do not scare us anymore.
Upon arriving on the pitch, it starts to rain (and even snow for a few minutes).
After a break at the refuge and the usual photos, we decided to go down the same side view of the poor weather conditions.
The descent (for me) was perhaps the most difficult of the climb: asphalt slippery, rain and cold.
At the end of the descent, a bar was well thought of adopting this solution to alleviate the cold of cyclists. Much appreciated!
After a hot shower, cold and still pass the satisfaction for this beautiful ride.
